ABOUT
I’m a Southern California native who has been a oboe musician and professional for over 15 years.
Playing the oboe has been a passion of mine and I look forward to sharing that
passion with you!
at a very early age playing in such acclaimed

I can be heard performing on the commercial recording of DvoÅ™ák's: Symphony No. 9 "From the New World" conducted by Christoph Eschenbach released on Ondine records.
I’ve also participated in summer fellowships at The Tanglewood Institute, the Aspen Music Festival, National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge CO, the Music Academy of the West, and the Hidden Valley Music Seminars with Elaine Douvas, principal oboe of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. I’ve performed in many concert series throughout the United States in such celebrated venues as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, Verizon Hall in Philadelphia, and Severance Hall in Cleveland. A published review by The Philadelphia Inquirer noted “...charismatic and sensual performance[s],” but my greatest joy has been to help oboe players of all ages discover the rewards of learning the oboe.
Resume and accomplishments aside, I know that I couldn't achieve my goals without incredible guidance and support from truly dedicated oboe teachers. I am very excited to be sharing that collective wisdom with you.
I am a graduate of the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music, where I earned my degree under the tutelage of acclaimed oboist Richard Woodhams of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
I began my professional career
ensembles as the American Symphony Orchestra, the Akron Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, and the Metropolitan Orchestra (MET) in New York.
